Came in today it looks and feels really solid, I like the feel of it in my hands and the fact that I can use it without a side handle if I want to is great. Plugged it in and went through the RPM's its really smooth. I just need to get some time to get some polishing in:)

I was able to get it spinning this weekend its very smooth and easy to operate. I have to say it like it quite a bit more than the Makita its well balanced and the rpm range is great. I feel I can get a better correction since I know exactly what RPM's I am running with the Flex PE compared to the Makita, where one has to guesstimate on the speed since the RPM range is spread out more.

i know this thread is quite old but dang! how did you guys score the machine in the low $300s with bags n backing plates? Iv been searching around and only see them around 380's + or - $10 without any extras. care to share a link/coupon code/great source? :)

Well, I bought mine at autogeek when they had their 15% off and free shipping sale. It was a complete package with two free LC rotary backing plates of your choice, a pad of your choice, and some wolfgang 8oz polish. I believe out the door everything was less than $320. Than the prices on the buffer went up and they stopped offering them with the freebies.
