Well I dont know if this would be classified as a review, but i didnt know exactly where to put this at being a qd. I got a bottle of the Optimum QD thursday from ObsessiveDetali . I mixed it up and finally got a chance to use it today. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. This product is pretty impressive. It was one of those products that you look and then go back to that one side you just got finished on to look at it agian. I was just stunned at the gloss this stuff has. The car is Pearl White. It was washed and had a coat of NXT 2.0 ( Sorry FMINUS hehehe). No paint correction at all (she wouldnt let me :)fs:). So I got the Optimum QD out.

Smell- Awesome. Like cotton candy. Even when diluted
    Gloss- Superb. Super Gloss.
Slickness- Super slick. The car has never been clayed and it felt slick - 4 y/o car- it was decent

Anyone want to buy my other qd's??? hehehehehe

Seriously. This stuff is great. Cant say enough good things about it.

Enjoy yours, when you get it!!!

woot i just ordered some. i dont usually qd that much but most of the time i use FK425 which is pretty slick and has antistatic properties. i've been lurking the CG site and found they also have some antistatic qd's.

She did help with the wash, wax removal, vacuuming, door jambs, and glass.

    Couple more pics.

I'm glad you like it Heath! It is a very awesome quick detailer. I think this is going to be the "QD of choice" for many people.

Glad to read this review. I just found this product today, ordered a gallon hoping it was good. Then I read this and feel even better. I'm usually a QuikShine user, but was looking for something a little less expensive, I hope I've found it with this product!!

I'm totally thrilled with this QD. I hope it wasnt that pearl white that made it glow so much, but it was impressive. The gloss and slickness were definately there.

You know that car well I'm sure. If you noticed a difference that's saying something!!

Actually. Thats only the second time I've cleaned the car. Still though. It was impressive how the OQD really made it glow.

The trunk lid is like sand paper its so embedded with contaminants. One day I'm gonna get it while she's at work and have my way with it hehehe. I'm gonna get some clay ahold of it. I'm sure the clay will change colors.

Wouldnt you know it. Today it rained so much there were flash flood warnings all over the place. The pain, the agony!!! All that hard work straight down the crapper. Oh well. I got an excuse to do it agian though.

Have you seen it in the rain since you used the QD?

Just curious because I love the way Quikshine makes the windows bead. Did you even use it on the windows?

I will try and get a beading shot today. I got my QD and new spray wax yesterday. Used QD on hood of my finaces silver equinox (just ONR washed it sunday), I then applied the wax to half the hood and just left the qd on the other. I knew it was going to rain today so I will try and get some beading shots. Both were very slick and I couldn't tell much of a difference in looks b/t them especially on silver.
