Now on the pomponazzi coating only say cause was mentioned. once mixed has to be used in a matter of a few hours or more depending on how much you mix is that the same for opti coat? also can you get bigger sizes? Now with some other coatings you can use on rubber an plastic can you do same with opti?
You don't have to mix it at all, it is ready to go in the syringe that it comes in. I get a few vehicles out of each syringe, so it dosn't go bad right away. You just want to keep it in a temperature controlled area. The only size that it comes in now is 40cc. which actually goes a very long way. Yes, you can use this on glass, metals, and plastics as well. I have it on my wheels, plastic trim, glass, and paint. It is pretty cool seeing the plastic trim beading like the paint does.
what about rubber trim? now i use a small mf to apply the other coatings you this foam pad would be better?
I've put it on rubber trim a few times and didn' have any problems. I've had the best luck so far with using a foam applicator to apply it, but I know of a lot of people that prefer using a microfiber towel. I think it is really personal preference.
The reason i ask so much is there really is limited info. out there about it an when i use it on higher end auto's i want to know the a-z about it lol. i have had great results with the coatings i have used but cause out of country hard to get an pricey cause i have to buy alot to make sure i have until i get more. I think this will be better as easier to get a hold of plus more cost affective in the long run. any vids on how you apply an the start to finish en results?
This sounds perfect for my wife's expedition (just set it and forget it!). is there a specific temperature range that you have to apply it in?
or my dads truck that is kept outside un garaged. Nice sales pitch Justin. it is on my list of things to buy once it is warm :0)
I completely understand all of your questions. I haven't seen any videos on how to apply it. The application is so very similar to putting on Opti Seal, you basically wipe it on and most of it just dissappears right away, the heavier spots will leave a slight haze, you just gently buff those areas with a microfiber towel.
oh ok same as the pomponazzi an liquid armor coatings those are the two i use the most. i think this is worth a shot i get alot of my opt direct from kev let me see if he going to carry if not i get from you thanks . an how long does it last if not opened ? an if opened how long?
I've been told that it will last for over a year if unopened. If opened it is still going to last for several months if you keep it sealed. I put mine in a baggy when I'm done with it.
