Optimum Car soap

My friend you will indeed here my thoughts post this weekend. Man I've been so busy between what will be my new home (with a fREakING garage!!!!!!!!!) and my old home and shopping for stuff with the wife I haven't washed my truck or cars or anything in like 3 weeks. I'm going though with drawl. LOL

 

No you're good. When you sent it to me the first thing I did was smell it and knew I had smelled that smell before but couldn't put my finger on it so I asked the wife to give it a sniff and the first thing she said was banana and I said "yes!". Smells just like gerber banana baby food.

 

Real good stuff. My gallon smells like banana

 

Cool, I'm not smokin crack...and I no longer feel the need to go in my basement and smell every bottle/gallon of car wash I have to find out which one was the banana smelling one!

 

Now is mine gonna smell like grape (32oz)???

Optimum is a tad slicker and more susdy. I have a blue car and something bothers me about the color of the DG...

 

What bothers you about it? It's Red. By the time you've diluted it, it's almost translucent.

 

I currently use DG901 as my weekly so I'll compare the Optimum to it. Do most use it 1oz/gal?

 

Whoops! I knew I should've included the dilution info from the label, but I didn't want my chicken scratch to make you wanna claw your eyes out. Label says 1oz/gal and that worked great for me.

 

Yes I am pretty sure mine has grape smel..or probably they have changed the formula?? dunno which one is newer though

 

I believe mine is grape too.

 

I just got mine in and gave it a quick whiff. It's definitely not banana.

 

I think its a cotton candy scent, but I'm not really sure. Can't quite describe it...

Well I think they must have changed it because mine is without question banana sent. OID is a cotton candy/bubble gum smell and the OCWv2 smells similar.
