Thanks P1et! Here's some more from today I could really use a polarizer in this massive summer daylight. All shots were with Nikon D200 + 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 VR lens. I think... F/22 ISO 100 Shutter speed i don't know In photoshop, I adjusted the white balance mostly. Upped the contrast a bit, and adjusted both saturation and vibrance. Clouds were further enhanced with levels. I may quit detailing to buy some more photography stuff, haha.
I'm really loving the composition of the leading lines in the first two. Glad you're thinking of composition when shooting... makes them more artistic rather than just snap shots. I'm no expert.. but have you tried to enhance your aperture/shutter settings to reduce PP? Seems like you do A LOT of post prossesing which can sometimes be more bad than good  that's what I've been told. When learning.. stay away from PP as much as possible. Again.. amazing attention to detail, most people don't think of composition when starting out :thumb:
thank you! It's a lot less post processing than you'd think! Most of the picture was adjusted to the correct white balance, and it was great already. Here's the last one before I adjusted the levels, tones... etc
Ahh yeah. Have you ever thought about doing layerd images? Take a image with the correct exposure for sky, then one for the ground and merge them in PS. It's like HDR but not nearly as dramatic. I've seen pics with outstanding results. But you're right.. very little differences. I'm decent at PS, but have trouble discerning whats too much or not enough
Yeeeeahhhh... I definitely need to learn more on how to use PS. I finally figured out how to blur license plates using the Gaussian blur effect, haha.
this tokina.... is WIDE! night shots ftl though. i had to up the exposure quite a bit without distorting the colors in photoshop
Damn dude! I like the hood/fender extension! You running a M V10 in there What ISO were you at? Kinda noisy.. (sorry, I'm such a critic )
believe it or not.... ISO 100 on a tripod.. f/22 30 sec exposure STILL underexposed. in hindsight, i should've used f/8-16 for best quality. night shots are ftl  Don't worry Phil, a couple of L lenses should get your spirits up haha
i tried to include as much detail as possible in the picture. It sucks when most of the car is in focus, but the wheels aren't sharp in the picture anyways, this bad boy (Tokina 12-24mm f/4) is crazy wide!
I used to live in San Diego for a couple of years...still miss it. You got some cool pics. This is a great natural shot. Aww...Seaport Village. Did you got to Horton Plaza?
