I has the pig flu! I had to get tested yesterday because I'm asthmatic. Finally getting over it a bit today. Hopefully I can go to work tomorrow!
That sucks!!! First person I've had any contact with that I've heard has the flu. Hope you're better soon!!! Any idea of the prognosis - I mean how long you'll be down, when you'll be back up to speed for work??? I'm sure that, unfortunately, as fast as this thing is spreading, there will be a few more of us who come in contact with the bug. Hey, maybe Cooter will invite you over to watch his new TV while you're healing?!?!?!:thud:
My temperature is up and down like crazy. Within 20 minutes it can spike from 97 to 101.5. It's insane. I'm taking today off work just to be sure I kick it's but. It has a fairly quick onset -- 24 hours and you feel like absolute crap. I mean terrible. I was asking my wife to take me out back like a lame horse. Body temperature regulator goes. So you're constantly hot, cold, hot, cold, cold for hours, then as soon as you get an extra blanket on, you're burning up again and have no blankets on. I agree that it's primarily the same the symptoms as the regular flu, I think it's just harder hitting and swings a bigger hammer. I'm going to try to get back to work tomorrow. I did absolutely NOTHING all weekend and I'm sure that helped quite a bit. I recorded a couple Star Wars movies that were on last night, so I'm gonna watch those now
