Also, when I did the 2011 Sti limited, I used a wheel woolie, and it was perfect for those wheels.......... but me, i would dismount them and do right, and seal them from the inside out with something like Permanon or opti coat......

when I corrected it, i used green uber with SIP then Superfinish and it was awesome.... ill see if i can find some pics of it.

Cool, I cleaned 3 of those last week, all the same colour. What is the odds in that? Great choice, I am sure you will be happy.

    Emile Welcome to Detailing

Thanks everyone. I read everybody's posts and advice very carefully, I do appreciate everyone's polish and protection suggestions.

hamza, I don't think it will be much worse than my 08 WRX was, probably a couple of mpg worse. I will update on the mileage once the motor gets broken in.

Mike, thanks a lot man. I believe 1,000 miles under 4,000rpm and no full throttle.

Gianni, I am excited as well but I downshift a lot. No mods planned, usually keep my car stock.

Kilo, thanks man, I will take your pad and brake line advice into account for the future.
