new stuff

Something bizarre happened last night. When I was doing the job, my garage was just overtaken by mosquitoes. (luckily I had lots of bug spray on) but when I was done they were all over the hood and every top surface. This morning I tried to wipe them off and they were stuck into the surface. It's like while the sealant was curing, the body of the bug ate into the surface. My wife had to get going, so I couldn't see if power washing alone would have fixed it. I have never had this problem with any other sealant or wax before. I have had bugs on the hood many times (I don't know what it is that attracts them like that?) but NEVER have they stuck...weird.

 

damn dude, that sucks!! I have a bug problem when I use Megs NXT2.0, they just seem to love it, but its bigger bugs that I can just flick off, and usually my garage stays pretty well sealed at night. Where you live is there an abundance of mosquitos?

 

Not that far from you..in Windsor, Ont, just across the river from Detroit.

 

That is the wierdest thing I've ever heard Richy. Were you able to get them off ok?

 

I don't know yet as my wife left with it to go out of town and she;s not back until tomorrow night.
