WOW......LOOKS great.....i absolutely love the color combos and the layout looks great....did you design and build with a architect or was it a builder house? best of luck with it....
Beautiful house Ken...Congrats on it. How is the garage??? Two car??? I just moved into a new home so I know what you are going through.
Very nice house! And you got upgrades in there too! I really like it! My house is built in 2003, I bought last summer, it was actually a bank repo. Lots of upgrades too, not a single piece of carpet, it's all wood, and tile. But mine is a 1 story, 3-bedroom 1600 feet (or so I think)...
A client of mine built the house and didn't get it sold before the market out here collapsed so we worked out a deal that benefits both of us. Unfinished basement will be an actual storage room, full bath and kids playroom. They call it a two car. Its 19x19. Nice thing is there is about a 3-4" drop fom the back of the garage to the front so I'll be washing our cars inside next winter. I already had my electrician install a heater!
Beautiful Just Beautiful. You have very good taste. How do you do it. You have so many things going on at the same time.:thumb:
The interior of that house is gorgeous and very well designed. I liked the railings at the top of the steps and the entire color scheme basically. Awesome decision there, well done. Enjoy it and try not to clutter it up with the kids!
Nice! The color of your bathroom vanity tops is Formica Jamocha Granite. Either that or Butter rum Granite. Just in case you wanted to know. My profession is kitchen/bath design. This almost looks like a spec home. Bold choice of colors, but I like it! Very modern. Is the finish on the kitchen cabinetry black, or a dark espresso brown? I don't know how the housing market is in canada, but if it's like here, you were probably able to snag an excellent deal!
Wow....stunning place Ken, I really love the finishes and overall colour scheme of the place...I am green Congrats and I wish you and your family many happy years in your new home :thumb:
congrats on a beautiful new home! i too was thinking: spec home? and what, no pictures of the garage!?!?! any plans for it? are you planning on finishing the basement/converting it into a man cave?
Don't get me wrong, I like it. Actually, I use to have a very similar scheme in one of my old houses, and all of the females that came over would say it was like a dungeon!
Market is down, but not as bad as there. You rock!! LOL No brains, no headaches. Thats how! Actually, my wife sucks. I lick. Its kind of like a higher end spec home. I'm hoping to get a few things done in the garage before pics. The basement is the kids area to keep the main floor toy-free and there is a 10x10 room that will be racked out for storage. I may put a man cave in the next house when I have a say in the plans. My wife just happened to like it as much as me so we got it. Happy wife, happy life.
