Festool is definitely high quality. I have the RO 125 its the forced orbital buffer. Definitely better than the Flex but it does cost almost twice as much.

I been having my eye on this rotary, I would love to try it out someday.

In what way is the RO125 better than the XC3401?

Interesting info about the shinex. What would you estimate the price is going to be for the rotary paul?

    Cheers,

Very nice Paul, I look forward to hearing how the Shinex compares to the Makita :thumb:

For reference sake would it be possible to get a pick of the Shinex alongside the Makita to compare size wise ?

I never knew Festool had a rotary and thanks for the info Paul :peace: I'm really curious to see how these tools hold up for you, specially the rotary please keep me posted.

Also I've had to edit your thread because your not allowed to sell items (as explained via e-mail).

Also, the Festool shinex weighs 2.1kg, the Makitas 3.0kg.

the BP on the shinex looks really thick. Let us know your thoughts on that BP paul :)

I am also loving how tiny the other polisher. oooo thick 3 inch bp too. Again let us know your feedback when you get the chance!

That Festool looks great, nice design and nice curves. I'm assuming that white backing plate on the Festool can be replaced with a 3M UK Backing Plate right Paul? Just wondering that's all.

That smaller rotary looks good too, that is a rotary right?

Yes, thats correct, I will be trying it out with the 3M backing plate as well as there own one, and yes the baby rotary is a rotary, and weighs a mere 1.6kg!!
