New Festool Shinex Polisher is awesome!!! :)

Festool is definitely high quality. I have the RO 125 its the forced orbital buffer. Definitely better than the Flex but it does cost almost twice as much.

 

I been having my eye on this rotary, I would love to try it out someday.

 

In what way is the RO125 better than the XC3401?

Interesting info about the shinex. What would you estimate the price is going to be for the rotary paul?

For reference sake would it be possible to get a pick of the Shinex alongside the Makita to compare size wise ?

Those are all 220v right

 

And 110volt as well.

i will get a picture of it tomorrow along side the makita, what a love about this machine is the variable speed trigger, perfect for us detailers!!

I think its £370 GBP inc VAT.

 

I never knew Festool had a rotary and thanks for the info Paul eace: I'm really curious to see how these tools hold up for you, specially the rotary please keep me posted.

That Festool looks great, nice design and nice curves. I'm assuming that white backing plate on the Festool can be replaced with a 3M UK Backing Plate right Paul? Just wondering that's all.

Yes, thats correct, I will be trying it out with the 3M backing plate as well as there own one, and yes the baby rotary is a rotary, and weighs a mere 1.6kg!!
