Well, she arrived 2 days ago! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I'm a proud new PaPa! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . She's brand new! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Got her pretty cheap. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . They said she was used, but she's brand new! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Picture right up. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Got her on Ebay, $185 shipped. The best price I could find online was $244 w/o shipping.
Man that's a sweet deal and you got a backing plate too..ur..did you get a backing plate with the Metabo? Your going to enjoy the Metabo :thumb: It's quite the machine :applause2:
BTW, whatever became of the Hitachi from the STL GTG? I remember trying to give it a whirl and it started acting up.
I jumped on this one as quickly as i could. BTW: I registered it on the Metabo XXL site whichs gives me a 3 year warranty.
I have had many rotaries over the past years. All have good and bad points. NONE are "perfect". My best advice if that if you haven't used a rotary before, try a few out before you buy one. A lot of rotary polising has to do with how the machine feels to you. To answer your question directly, the best is what you feel comfortable with, not the price of the machine.
Thank you and good find. I have a older makita but i prefer to use a pc. Im thinking i am going to jump to a air polisher.
