I used Zaino for years but got feed up with the waterspot etching when using it on my own cars. I am never buying a black car again. (I've been struggling with it for 16 years)

Use your PC with a black or red pad and it takes about 5 minutes to layer a car. Zaino has a weird reputation for being a back breaking, super long process. It's really no different than any other LSP application.

    I don't have a PC yet :(
It's on the list but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I had a chance to put a coat of Jeffs Werkstat Strong on the Mitsubishi a few days ago. I am very seriously tempted to go back to Werkstat. It leaves a look that's a lot like a carnauba . A very wet look. It also makes the metallic flakes pop like crazy. I might forget about Body Wrap and Zaino both and just stick with some Acrylic Jett Trigger.

Having used all three I would strongly recommend Wolf Body Wrap...It gave me the best finish, lasted the longest, very easy to use, and beading is as tight as anal sex no lube...

Thanks for the info but I already ordered the Zaino (Most of it will be here tomorrow). I still might try Bodywrap when I run out of Zaino or if I decide I want something new & I have some money to spare later in the summer.
Especially if I finally have a buffer by then.
I was very seriously tempted by Bodywrap but there's some things about it that make me a little nervous.
1)It can't be removed with Dawn of shampoos like Chemical Guy's citrus;it has to be polished off
2)I saw a post on Detailers World where a guy applied one coat on Bodywrap and then did a second application with a different kind of applicator and you could see the pattern of the second application in the water beads on his hood. Not cool.
3)For best results you have to use their expensive ass nano shampoo & QD;if I use Zaino I can use pretty much whatever QD I want
4)There's way too many inconsistencies i Bodywrap. This stuff is so durable that it can only be removed by machine polishing but using a quality shampoo like CGGlossworkz will damage it?!?!?!?!?!? Pull the other one it has bells on it!

I'm probably gonna pick up a bottle or two of Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax. That stuff beads pretty well...

I don't know why so many people whine bitch and moan about Zaino being so complicated and difficult. I mean really - Pour 1-2 ounces of Z-2 or Z-5 in a bottle add 4-5 drops of ZFX per ounce shake for about 30 seconds DONE. Let it sit for about 1 minute whilst you gather up all your gear give a final shake for a few seconds and then apply to vehicle.
On another forum one gut said that he mixes Z-2 and Z-5 together and then adds ZFX to the mix. I just might try that.

Yeah I tried Powerlock and Black fire a couple of years ago and neither one exactly blew me away. They weren't terrible they just didn't blow me away like I was led to believe they would. I like Fuzion about ten times better than either one of those LSP's.
CarPro Reload is another I've been wanting to try. Idn't know how well it would work with Zaino though.

I have to agree with supercharged on the body wrap. It does give a great finish to any vehicle.
My daily driver (lifted 2004 jeep liberty) has lasted three months and still going strong. Even though it was a little hard to put the body wrap on just because it's a big vehicle and I'm a pretty short person. It looked great afterwards and still looks amazing after a quick wash.
Maybe the person over at DW put the second coat on a little too thick and that's why you could see the pattern? I didn't have the problem with it when I applied it. Just a possibility...
Personally, I like having to only use the wolf's nano shampoo and qd because I know I won't have to go shop around to find a shampoo or qd I will like. I already know what I'll be getting. Plus, the shampoo is not that expensive considering the dilution ratio. The qd, which is awesome, has lasted me through several cleanings and I still have plenty left.

Oh, I still have waxes to put on the other cars I clean so I don't want to sound like all I use is body wrap now lol. However I have only tried Adam's Americana and AGHD , liked them, and have stuck with them.

    Just my two cents though.

I think he wrote that he used a piece of microfiber towel the first time and then used something else the second time and whatever he used the second time didn't work too well as an applicator.
