I just polished my car with the megs DA microfiber system D300 followed up with green pad and 106FF. It looks great with no hazing. Some areas of the car can't be polished with my DA so I resorted to using my hands. I got most of the swirls out but now the problem I have is that I have hazing on those areas. I tried using M205 and 106FF with a yellow applicator pad but both of them hazed and I can't remove them. Any tips on how to remove the hazing? As this is really frustrating and my arms feel like jello now from trying to remove the hazing by hand. BTW the car is a BMW with black sapphire paint which isnt super soft paint. Thanks!
I can't tell from the picture but often hazing when hand polishing is caused by too much pressure being applied. Try the last part of your hand polishing process with very light pressure. Hand polishing puts more pressure in a concentrated area then one would think.
