Jesse I used Body Wrap this weekend along with Decon gel and 1n Trim and Tire dressing. Decon Gel was great, I left it on for 30 minutes and used a garden hose to spray off, foamed, then a sheepskin mitt with chemical guys citrus wash and it came off with ease I was a little worried after seeing how hard it dried on there lol. I applied BW with a Gold LC pad and GG DA and I used 4-5 SMALL drops of BW per panel, this was on a 00 Odyssey, I also did one panel with a cotton applicator by hand, this was the only panel I noticed true hazing. I did half the van with BW and other have a Beta sample from Duragloss. The BW doesn't even look like I used any

I had a chance to try the quick detailer this weekend and it is really easy to apply, looks great and is very slick.

Jesse, is there any reason not to use the qd as a drying aid, other than diluting it?

I guess I'm asking if it is compatible with water. LOL.

    Hi buddy!

It's a water-based QD, so yes using it on a wet car will really dilute it! I've never been a big fan of drying aids (we developed one some time back, but chose not to release it), but with Body Wrap on the car there should be no need for drying aids... it's slicker than whale snot and it hates water :)!

You rock and you roll, thanks for the support buddy! Auuoooo!!!!

Ocassionally, you can circumvent the web block if you search for photobucket first, and enter the site through the searched address.

e.g. search photobucket with google, and use the supplied link.

    Jesse,

I have to report back to you with my experience with Bodywrap both last night and today. Well last night it rained and when I got to my mustang I noticed insane beading on it. I had to drive to blockbuster to return a movie then take my girlfriend home. So when we started driving immediately the water started to slide off the hood like nothing I have ever seen before. When I got to blockbuster which is only about 2 miles from my home I got out and the entire mustang was dry excluding the panels lowest to the ground and it looked clean I mean not as clean as a wash of course but it looked clean which is not what one expects after it just rained in the desert, the only part that was evident that it was dirty was the rear decklid and rear bumper which on most vehicle is the dirtiest.

This morning I went out to take a look at it and to my surprise it still looked clean from a distant of course when I got close to the car you could see that it rained on it but there was hardly any dirt or water spots at all on the finish it looked like all that happened was it got caught in a light drizzle. This is a first for me because every sealant and carnauba I have used never has looked this good after a rain storm the next day. And being that I live in the desert we constantly have a breeze going on and that breeze always carries dust which causes a black vehicle that is wet to look horrible after it rains here, yet that was not the case at all for me.

Well a few hours ago I decided to wash the mustang and see how well Bodywrap sheets and beads water. So snowfoamed the mustang with 2oz of CG Maxisuds II let is sit for a few minutes then pressure rinsed it off and to my surprise it clean up everything off it from yesterdays rain which was not much from what I explained to you. I also ran my the tips of my fingers lightly over the finish to see if it was gritty so I would know wether to proceeded to washing via TBM but nothing it was really slick and clean so I didnt have to wash and take out the buckets. When rinsing I put Bodywrap to the test and my GOD does Bodywrap sheet water off quickly, I then pressure rinsed from a distance so that I could get beading from the mist and again like nothing I have ever seen on my vehicle before, it looked very similar to the pearl white BMW 335i that has the beading photos on Detailing World. The beads were very tight and very symmetrical. After messing around for about 5 minutes with the beading and sheeting:) I took out my Metro MasterBlaster to dry. I have to say drying it today went really well the water ran off the panels really quickly. I did have some areas that had some light water spotting because the Masterblaster heats the air and sometimes dries so quickly that the water doesnt get to slide off the surfaces. So I then went over with Distilled water and 2 CG Monster Microfibers and it looks amazing again! I know this is a long post, but I felt I had to share my experience. I would have taken pictures but I only have my cell phone so I didnt bother this time. I really need to get a decent camera soon.

Excellent results Danny. I tested BW over a year ago and was amazed at how easy it was to apply. Looks like I may have to bring some in. :)

I have found the same results Danny. We have been using as well especially with winter around the corner.

I did the same pressure washer test and it was flying off the paint

Thanks Ken. I too was really surprised on how easy it was to apply and how little one uses to coat the entire vehicle. I would give another go if I was you:)

Phil its just insane what how well it kept the paint clean after all that. Also these past few days after I applied it I really haven't seen as much dust on the mustang like I usually do when I have had other sealants and carnaubas on it...it tends to attract dust quickly unless I use Prima Slick over the protection. But In this case I didnt use it because Jesse told me its not necessary and its has stayed pretty much dust free for the most part. And I can only imagine how easy its going to be to keep a vehicle clean up in the northern states with all the salt and snow if you have Bodywrap on it. In one of the videos I saw Jesse washes his wifes vehicle with the Nano Bathe without a prewash and it cleans right up with ease its pretty cool I am sure you have seen it. Now I have to get Nano Bathe from you soon:)

    Thanks man:)

Karl not sure which is better I am sure Phil would let you know on that. But I can say I am happy so far with the results I have had with Bodywrap this week it has proven its self quite a bit in the short time I have had it on my GT. Another reason I chose it was because you get 150ml of product and you can apply it to several vehicles if you apply it correctly. I still have like 85% or more of the bottle left after two coats. I am sure one can do about 10 or who knows even 15 applications to a vehicle around the size of my mustang. Also its really easy to apply. I found it was easier to apply than the other 2 nano type coatings I have applied to vehicles in the past.
