Well yesterday i contacted one of my good friends at Vauxhall Dougie the vxr brand manager for vauxhall uk and asked if i could come up and see the new limited edition Nurburgring in the flesh.... Wow what a lovely building...most impressed.....like a citadel a real bioshock. Then when going into the main entrance it was rapture a waterfall heaven..Im surprised the security guard didnt nod off with the sound of running water 24/7.. Anyway i met Dougie the vxr brand manager who filled me in on the wedding and the pink floral tartan kilt he is wearing and i loved the idea of geraniums hanging from his sporan..Real class.. So the ring...Well i have to admit i have not really been that impressed with photos of it so far because it is one of these cars that needs to be seen in the flesh really....White now seems to be the new colour and all the marques like Porsche and Lamborghini have theirs and i suppose Vauxhall have followed suit..I have always loved the focus St in white so was pleasantly surprised when i saw it... I was pleased to know that the checkered strip is not a whole line but individually cut like the r27 renault i have detailed and this will help as light fastness of the film was a major worry for me as cream vinyl does not look good after 2 years uv attacking. I like the neat touches like the carbon fibre effect wing mirrors and door sills and also the ring embossed in the full leather overall the whole package really impressed me the only minus point which i was worried about and has been discussed many times is the wheels and 18" instead of 19". I have to be honest they are better in the flesh and although im informed that 19,s are an option now 18,s may suit the car better..... I have decided that if i dont like thwm i will put team dynamic 1.2,s on anyway I have also been informed that the side strip will not be on the production car aswell... So all in all i was impressed well so much that baring no problems tomorrow i will now order one and the blue baby will be up for sale around April time.... I treasured that car with my life and it has had many many hours put into it and all the under bonnet work i have been designing with a couple of guys in chrome wil now be done with a Nurburgring theme so i havent lost out there...... I just really hope that whoever eventually buys my car will treasure it like i have and look after it.......Tis a sad day for me but a new adventure is on the horizon..

What your selling the blue :what: but, but it's blue...and the blue inteerior lights and...and...it's blue...come on Marc...at least tell us the new one your getting is going to be blue :thumb: Just teasing, man that building/office looks sharp outside and inside, very classy. Thank you for sharing with us Marc look forward to the new vehicle and not sure if I'm looking forward to the goodbye to the current vehicle you have. Oh will you be doing any changes to the new vehicle right from the get go? Just curious.
Looks like a sweet car And I know you are gone switch to blue lights again, lol! Love it in white, very nice. In Norway is called Opel astra OPC.
What do those have for engines? Turbocharged? Are they fast? Im not a big fan of smaller cars but the body lines on that are awesome. The carbon fiber touches are pretty cool as well. My two favorite colors are white and blue so in my eyees you cant go wrong with either choice :thumb:
