my 'remember when' thread

I got BitDefender for $5 for 3PCs 1 year subscription online, and everything else was "meh".

 

If you look at the ads the majority of the stuff is just pure shit........ they have all sorts of no name tablets, digital cameras, nav systems and big tvs with horrible Refresh rates, low end blue ray players etc etc.......... all cheap and sold for cheap. It just amuses me that people fall for this, and that people really can find far better deals year round. It has become so hyped people are looking for reasons to buy more shit. Literally.

I would rather have a 27" standard tv like my sony trinitron in my sons room then fork out 200.00 for a westinghouse POS flat screen. People want what everyone else has and generally do not care it seems that the quality of what they are buying is trash.

I think people actually fabricate things they think they need to justify the spending. Like Mike said, non essential items. And Ken hit the nail on the head as well.
