Does the car smell as good as the wax? lol, absolutely gorgeous work on your GTR... The more I see them, the more they are growing on me as I have honestly never been wild about them.

ok first sunny day since the detail and all i can say is wow!! its such a deep solid black, it looks great, this is the look i love for solid black cars

not even the concorso or P21S i used to use on my solid black 350Z looked this deep

but im now thinking, this would be a good test to see if i can make it an even deeper black

    your thoughts guys?

maybe 2 more layers of lusso next wash? or what if i add a layer of something like crystal noir?

im thinking through my LSPs, my two favs e-zyme and vics red probably wont do much but make it brighter, likewise SN or Fuzion, mayb BF midnight sun? or adding the CK CMW - ive read thats a really deep looking carnauba on solid black

here's my products to choose from

ill do it this weekend and post daytime pics

inally got to wash the car after 3 weeks of aus winter rain and 3 pressure rinses using my carry pack and CG Maxi Suds, and 1 rinse with DP Xtreme in the Foam Gun

the finish still beaded very well, but there were minor water spots on the top of the front guards and leading edge of the bonnet near the headlight, so id say this is more of a summer wax, or could benefit from a sealant underneath to help with protection

suprisingly these removed easily with Prima Slick, so i decided to go over the whole car with Prima just to clean it up ready for another layer of Lusso Oro

i decided to apply the wax using my G220 (G110) and a gold 6.5" LC pad, and wow what a time saver! there was something just hypnotic about seeing the wax spread on the paint with a perfect buffer pattern...... yes im going LSP crazy

i tapped the wax out of the tub and rubbed it on the surface of the pad, and spread on speed 2. I then followed up with a 4" LC gold by hand on areas i couldnt get the access too

ill definitely be applying pastes this way in the future - that is if i can get the wax out of the tub in one piece, otherwise i might use my fingers to spread on the pad, but thinking that will take just as long as hand applying anyway

next week ill layer the crystal noir and post some pics. Will also apply Prima Amigo + Menz Power Lock on my wheels as the 2x 476S is pretty much all gone some 7 weeks later
