Hey guys. First let me start by saying how honored I am to be amongst other detail nuts that are just as willing to look at bottles of polishes, cleaners and LSP's as I am. Never in a million years did I think I would stumble across a website with its own section dedicated to showing off our shelves. So glad I found this site. First off.... my garage/shop. Nothing too fancy. but it works well for my needs. Above the cabinet is an Echo PB230 for drying, to the right in the blue storage bin are all my pads. The two buckets are cast nets, non-detail related. The lower shelf of the rolling workbench on the right holds all of my power tools, the little blue bin on the right is a PC 7336SP. The drawers are filled with various detail brushes, applicators, backing plates and misc. detail supplies. And to the right, are my microfiber condos. Heres my bread and butter cabinet. Mostly Einszette and Zaino products, there are more in the cabinet on the right, but mostly doubles and triples of whats in here. Not pictured are more bottles of 1Z green can and yellow can, Four Star PUPP, Klasse SG, a big 2 gallon jug of P21S TAW and a Wolfgang foam gun. And last but not least. I love these little sprayers from Sally's. Since they are made for hair, they have an ultra fine mist nozzle. They are filled with everything from 1Z Glanz to detail spray and leather cleaners. Rocking the Zaino......... good man. Stoners trim shine, outstanding product, and can't say enough good things about the Einzett line as well as Prima I have to know, where did you get those rolling carts, those are sweet.
Thanks for the nice words, much appreciated. The two little 1Z bottles are both Gummi, the one on the right is just older and has a second label in English laid over top of the German label. Thats how most of my 1Z stuff used to come years ago.
That bottle is a few years old. I bought that from Nick when he used to be Detailers Paradise (now Prima). That stuff is amazing, I havent seen it around anymore though.
Ever had a problem with clogged nozzles on those spray bottles? I like the idea of an ultrafine spray, the bottles I have won't allow that.
haha, thats great. Those carts have been my pride and joy these last two days, I've been telling everyone that will listen to me about them. I found them at Home Depot on Monday. They are 50" wide, 44" tall and about 22" deep. Ball bearing drawers and all 4 caster wheels rotate with the two on the right locking, and a butcher block top. They even came with drawer pads. They were regularly $300, marked down to clearance for $200. I loved the first one so much, I went back the next morning and bought another one (last one too). The one on the left is empty right now, but I'll fill it with something. Its a hell of a cart for $200, I've seen Sears Craftsman carts that are half the size for $500. Its built like a tank, took two people to get the box in the truck. If you wanna check your Home Depot, the SKU is 764053470073, they are made by Whalen and were in the front of the store by the clearance stuff.
I had let some Klasse SG sit in one of them a few years ago and it clogged up the tip of the nozzle, but nothing internal. A quick wipe with a wet paper towel and it was good to go. Sally's has these in larger bottles as well that use the same spray head, but for me the little ones are the perfect size for detail sprays and Glanz. Being that they are used for hair, the mist is ultra fine. I can get months out of Z-6 with that little bottle.
Very well organized. I was going to ask about those carts as well. Thanks for the detailed information on them. I'll have to see if my local Home Depot(s) has one or two. I'll be checking back for any additional updates, thanks for sharing.
A quick update. Fed-Ex rolled up bright and early this morning. Rang the doorbell at 8 am and was greeted to a box of Zaino stuff! Was running low on some of this stuff, so time to stock up.
I love it! Probably one of the best looking dressings I've used. And like all Zaino stuff, a little goes a long way. Did you find one of those tool carts today?
