My First Wetsand!

Nice work Josh! I attacked 4 deep chips on mine, 3 with sucess, paint/clearcoat kit on order for number 4 where I went through the clearcoat with 2000 grit wet. Geese was the cc thin :gasp:

 

First time I see this thread...not sure how I missed it :shead: any who, congrats on the wet sanding. Like using a rotary it's nothing to be afraid off, you just have to respect it...just as a rotary.

 

nice work for the 1st time. I have never wetsanded my self before.

Thanks Nica. I plan on getting a rotary sometime in the near future, only thing that's holding me back is $$.

You should definitely give it a shot. I was nervous, but I just took my time. Give it a shot whenever you can :thumb:.

ive done few wet sanding jobs and every time it feels the same to me.........got to be carefull.........might rub through, but then after youve done and gone your first few passes at polishing it back up you no youve done good.

Nice work! The first time I took sand paper to my baby I about cried thinking I destroyed the paint!
