-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi guys Want to share my experience having recently used Zymol Field Glaze for the first time I bought this off a fellow aussie hobbiest and am glad i did. I washed the car during the week last week, although it was still raining everyday here in Melb - it needed a quick wash to prevent the grime building up, especially inside my wheels and arches My E-zyme + Vic Mayhem is still holding on with about 70% of the top panels still beading, but the lower panels under the door moulding are over, and i have some water spots on the top edge of the rear bumper - its been a pretty long stint!! I had some time to kill so thought id give the Zymol Field Glaze a shot. I applied this two ways, and i see now why you should always follow manufacturers instructions. I started out spraying panel at a time, letting sit for about 10 seconds then wiping over with a short nap MF - as per the instructions. The liquid in the product seemed to build up not unlike using a MF to wipe away water. So it did take a bit of time to work the product in. It definitely took on an added level of depthness and gloss, very surprised Now the trigger spray isnt the best, so the product was spraying quite a bit outwards. Having CG Jetseal on the wheels curing at the same time, i didnt want any of the Field Glaze spritz landing on the wheels, so on the guards i spritzed it into the MF and wiped on A good 4 days later complete with terrential melbourne downpour daily, i decided last night to give the car a quick high pressure foaming down with CG maxi-suds. I was suprised to see the paint still beading. Notably the panels i sprayed the Field Glaze directly onto the panel was beading alot better - so there you have it, follow the instructions! This would have to be the best spray wax ive used so far in terms of looks + durability, though im only comparing it to Pinnacle Liquid Souveran, Z8, OCW and SV Quick Finish (is that even a spray wax though?). Im sure there's plenty more out there that would rival ZFG Which now begs the question. Seeing as though i had some water spots on the top edge of the rear bumper, does a spray product exist that has a gentle low strength cleaner in it to remove water spots etc and also gives the car a wax top up?? You could use something like that during winter to keep on top of the water spots and not let them build up oh and ill upload the pics tonight.... edit
Hmm, What I do with my field glaze is to spray the panel and wipe it around to cover every piece and let it sit for 10 sec-30 sec (however long it takes to do the next panel) then buff off. I love how it doesnt take away from the wax but adds to it...I just wish it wasnt soo expensive
