Personally, my favorite details are old beaters that are brought back to life. I have said it many times on this forum, but I cannot wait until someone approaches me to detail their old Volvo.

Even though Ferraris and Porsches, etc., are nice cars, the details often bore me to death.

Example of a fantastic detail: 13 Year Old Polo - New lease of Life & First Time Rotary. - Detailing World

    How does everyone else feel?

Now that you mention it. That would be pretty cool. I would even do the approaching to get a shot at something like that...:thumb:

I think it's cool also. The detailing of high dollar cars doesnt hold a lot of interest for me either.

Now bring something back from the dead, :applause:

I just cant believe he used Vintage on it

I cant even afford the wax.

I might be bringing like a 97 escort back from the dead later this year. Its hammered, and beyond dirty.

Yep, I definitely agree that the thorough restoration details are my favorite, regardless of what vehicle it is! :)

going to have to disagree with you guys. Theres something about imagining myself owning one while im detailing it that passes time :).

But I would say that the restoration type details of older exotics have to rank my most favorite. :)

i also enjoy the occasional resurrection. Key word being occasional. I spent 8 years working on everything that came through the door and I could tell you stories that would make you throw up but I'll refrain. I enjoy detailing daily drivers that do need a good going over, but are not beat to death.

I would have to agree, I enjoy detailing something that will show drastic change...but I personally enjoy a good challenge, I do enjoy exotics or high end vehicles but it's always good to switch it up once in a wile...just me though.

Yeah I definitely agree with you. Before and afters are my favorite, and what shows off a B & A better than a complete restoration?

the cars in my family range from some older and some newer cars, paint condition varying directly. Hopefully this summer i'll be able to attack some on either end of the spectrum to see what this is like to just give an already good condition car that extra pop, and to totally revive another, i can't wait!

    I agree.

And that wax probably costed more than the car.
