Wash Mothers California Gold - Not sure what to use aside from this stuff. I have enough left to last me 2 months. DP Gel Wheel Cleaner - I go through this stuff like crazy...getting expensive. Cobra Bone Pinnacle Professional Bug Sponge Boar's Hair Wheel Brush Dry Cobra Guzzler HD - Can not dry the entire car without having to constantly wring it out. AG has a 2 for 1 deal. Should I just order a few more? Polishes/Waxes Pinnacle XMT Intermediate Swirl Remover #3 Pinnacle Carnauba Finishing Glaze Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer - Not even sure WTF to use this for. Came with the Sealant Pinnacle Signiture Series Wax - Considering Fuzion to replace this and the Sealant. Misc Porter Cable 7424 w/ assorted foam pads Pinnacle Foam Hand Applicator Cobra MF Cloths DP Microfiber Rejuv. Cleaner Cobra Pad Cleaner Powder Tire Shine Optimum Tire Shine Gel Metal Polishing/Wheels DP Wheel Glaze - This stuff is a pain to apply...takes me 15 minutes per wheel! Suggestions? Eagle One Wadding Polish (I use this on the exhaust tips) Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish (use this on my track wheels, Billet Holeshot wheels) Interior Pinnacle Leather Conditioner Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Protectant Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (helps remove scuffs on plastic panels in the trunk) That's what I use I know I have a lot of stuff to still get like engine detailing, carpet cleaning etc.,
Nice collection!! You should get some Optimum Opti-seal and use on your wheels. You should also look into Menzerna polishes. They're some really good polishes. That Mothers California Gold can be a beast if you apply it to thick.
Looks good to me! I just wouldn't use the Cobra Guzzler, as there are many other good alternatives out there!
i love my detailed image waffle weave drying towels 2 dry the whole car and also i would pick up some kinda of spray wax or nice quick detailer to use while you dry the car nice collection=]]
My Cobra guzzler is collecting dust. Get some Pakshak waffle weave towels. Two 16X26 should be enough to dry an average car.
Mothers California Gold--After 2 months get some ONR. Cobra Guzzler HD--Dump it and get some Pakshak Waffle Weave towels. Polishes/Waxes--Get the Wolfgang 3.0 Twins for correction or Meg's 105/205 Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer --Used to clean the paint of old waxes and to prep for new wax. DP Wheel Glaze--Either Blackfire Metal Sealant or CG Wheel Guard..both easy on easy off. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser--Be careful with Mr. Clean...can be very aggressive and remove the coating on plastic parts.
dont forget a good clay bar. one of my favorite things to use in my collection. I like sonus and claymagic...although they are the only clays that i have. I tried mothers once and i didnt like how hard the clay was.
Ooops. Thanks Legacy!!!!!!!!!! Sure did miss that! Showroom FX (formerly Tropicare) Waffle weaves are the best I've ever used. I've got some from Danase but havent gotten to use them yet.
For wash the best I've ever used has been Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss. This stuff is amazing, right amount of slick-ness, smells like candy, and leaves your car looking shiny as ever. Not the cheapest but the best I've used thus far. I really liked DG Car Wash Concentrate aswell, cheaper than dirt, smells good and gets the job done. As for cleaning carpets/wheels/engine bays I'm a huge fan of the Zep line. More specifically Zep Purple Degreaser, and Zep citrus for wheels and engine bays, and Zep High Traffic Cleaner for carpets. I haven't tried Zep HTC on car carpets, but worked wonders on stains from my dog on carpets around the house. Zep citrus and purple will literally last you forever since you can dilute them something crazy. I use citrus/purple combo on maintenance washes and it works great. Has some troubles with the tougher brake dust but Meguiar's Wheel Brightener can usually take care of that. As for your wheel glaze, I've never used that product before - but I like to use either DG105/Collinite845 on wheels. I apply after using Klasse AIO, and let sit for a bit and it makes the next maintenance wash a breeze.
ch4otic hit the nail on the head for what I was going to say. Make an order with Duragloss.com and get their car wash (901) as well as their sealant (105 or 111 and don't worry that it says it's a polish). If your wheels are cleaned once well and sealed with DG 105 or 111 then simply washing them will maintain them just fine. If you want to get fancy, or some 601 bonding agent to use under the 105 or 111, it makes it last longer and you can layer it quickly if you choose to with that product...especially on your wheels. Clean, 601/105 let haze for 15 minutes then remove. 1/2 hour later repeat same process. You will not believe the protection that will give your wheels. Your other amazing product line easily at your disposal is Zep APC namely the Citrus. Available at Home Depot for about $10 and can be diluted 4:1 for use on a ton of things including paint, tires and whatever else. Don't let it sit on the paint for longer than 10 to 15 minutes and you're fine. The Tropicare waffle weaves are great too.
i did not like the dura gloss wash but hey that's me . take it all in an make your decisions than break out the bank roll ya gonna need it.
