Lusso is sudsy and very slick. UG is more about the gloss it leaves behind and lots of foam. Both good car wash soaps, can't go wrong with trying either one.
I think Ill probably end up ordering some MS Ultra Gloss since I can get it by the gallon. Thanks Emile. I have been trying to find who sells it its not on detailersdomain or eshine sites not sure who else carries it. I know DI and autogeek dont carrie it so I am stumped.
You have to get it direct from MS shipped. Which can cost about $10-11 making the total cost about $30, which is still competitive. Dang locals! I envy them!
That bolded statement really stands out to me because i was just about to give up on gloss enhancing/wax shampoos but if your description of MSUG is accurate then i may give it a look. I thought i would have been thrilled with IZ Perls but the polymers in it are not to my liking and i thought i would have liked the extra gloss but i didnt even see it after using the Perls. I had a sample of Glossworkz and it leaves the paint with a film maybe due to the stuff in it. Those shampoos are very nice, dont get me wrong but im not into the wax and wash thing, especially if those polymers in there last for a while. But you said it beats out Optimum Car Wash? That is on the way as i ordered it yesterday. OCW is pretty mild though right and shouldnt leave much behind?
Got a chance to try out MSUG today. Initial impressions: mhmmm... this smells delicious During: I mixed 1oz/1 gallon from warm filtered water inside my house and noticed it suds up very nicely initially and still retains great cherry smell throughout a long period of time. It was very slippery, had a nice more dense than water feeling. Also used this inside of my foam cannon mixed with 1 oz of megs APC, foamed up very nicely, and brought all sort of critters to my working area. After: The vehicle that I used the soap on was probably not the greatest of choices since the car required something with a little more bite, however for a mild maintenance soap it did a good job and left a nice gloss onto the vehicle. I will definitely look into buying more MSUG and perhaps other MS products sometime in the future. Would like to thank Reflect for the opportunity to try out MSUG
I'm glad everyone seems to like the stuff. I also have the problem with 'guests' when I'm using the soap. A lot of bugs really seem intrigued by the smell on my truck afterwards, and sometimes refuse to leave. Super Foam definitely has more bite. I told them they should make it stronger so it fully strips the LSP out of the foam cannon. I also got to talking about a similar soap in lubricity and neutrality to UG, but without the glossing agents. I wonder if they'll ever take my advice.
