Well I woke up Sunday to a scrapping sound, I look outside to see that we had gotten beaten:gasp: with snow and my neighbor (who is at least 70) is outside shoveling.. I open my window and tell him to put the shovel down and I'll be right out. Just to give you an idea of how much snow we are talking about, here's my porch... Look @ the accumulation on the table: My boy and I suit up and head out and then shovelled for him and the next neighbor down(also elder). We had a blast and it wasn't really "work".My boy and I can horse ass around and make anything fun.. we ended up shoveling and snow ball fighting for quite a while. Well then it was time to get some grub (since I really screwed up and didn't go shopping the night before)... Well, my I have a "covered" spot, you'll see how well this did with blowing snow!! I apologized aloud to my car for the 3rd time this season! Good thing I laid a coat of Al-53 secret sealant sampler, some DG 105, some Collinite 476s x's two and then some SC barrier reef.. I think I am protected A literal SHELF OF SNOW!! Guess I better get the snow off the window before I drive
I remember those days. Although I am sure that you and your son had a good time I am glad that it is jsut a memory for me. I miss Alaska but do not miss the cold winter snow. That was very nice of you to clear the neighbors walk as well. Merry Christmas!!
Hey bro that looks brutal! Although I really really really really really really (do you get my point here) HATE snow, I must admit that the few times we have gotten it here since my kids have been born it's a lot more fun with them. Here's hoping you get some relief soon.
mmmm, snow is fun Not to mutch snow here now But hopeing for some snow soon!! Very nice of you to help your neighbors
man I wish we got some of that up here!!! I love the big snowfalls SO much, not this wussy stuff Calgary keeps getting now!
bite your tounge... and thats sucks... but i know what its like.. anyone in canada has been through it at least once.... i have a friend on ontario.. he cannot fly in to get home.. even pearson airport (canadas largest) is closed...
Yup we got some serious snow... I would love to get the snow, I even found a freshly plowed straight street and got some speed to help some fly off:shakehead: I am sure you are just fine "remembering" them..lol No biggie helping the neighbors out, they don't seem to have any kids that can help them so i might as well. I am actually used to waking and shoveling and since the divorce ($$ OUCH!!) I have been condo living. We have someone that clears the walks and such but on bad days it can take them a few hours to get to it You know, it's fun to play with my son in the snow... sucks for the car!! helping them is like leverage... :shh:they never complain when I detail my (or customer) cars... I say go big or go home.. If it's going to be cold as even a little snow on the ground might as well have enough to have some fun with!! yup, super crazy.... 03! yeah, we had fun.. plus he's out of school today, "snow day".. I told him he could either go outside and play or clean his room... I'll let you guess where he is right now....lol DANG.......
Wow that's alot of snow...wile snow is fun it can be a pain in the but too. Looks like your getting a white Christmas, that's kinda nice lol... Man that is alot of snow though
