Does the post say to add both microfiber restore and vinegar in the same cycle? Wouldnt that cancel each other out? Shouldnt one add the vinegar in the rinse cycle?
Correct. My washer has the cup in the middle of the agitator for fabric softener. I just our the vinegar in there and it adds it in the rinse cycle.

Why a cold rinse for washing microfiber? Wouldnt a warm rinse work better because it can carry away more residue than a cold rinse?
