Why are you always so pessimistic? I was just stating a fact, and more or less thanking you for recommending me them. They worked wonderfully the first few times. I'll get a better picture of it later I suppose, but it did come from Ranney. Also if that were the case my towels would be scratching other cars, not only mine and my WW's still perform like new. Thanks for the help (not sarcastic).

Audi S5. *Sometimes* Literally as I wipe I can see the scratches being put into the paint. They remove extremely easily, still a pain though.

Not being pessimistic. Go back and read what you typed. It sounds like you are blaming me because the towel scratched the paint because I recommended them. I am glad to help you out, but if they worked great the first few times it really sounds like something got on the towel and caused your problem. Do you have any other of the towels just like the one that supposedly caused the scratches? Like I said above I have his towels that are over 5 years old and they work just as good as new.

Not blaming you at all man, sorry it seemed that way. I really don't think so though, I remember a post around here not too long ago where someone detailed an Audi and commented on how easily the paint marred. For some reason I feel like it was Dave, dsms

i cannot comment on pak shack towels, as i have not used them. I have a good bit of money into justin's towels after i tried them and they exceeded my expectations. I.m happy with justin's product. as always, ymmv.

No problem, I am sorry to hear that the car got scratched. I have not had any problems with their towels at all. The one time I did, I found a small piece of debris in the towel that caused the problem.
