What is everybody's favorite microfiber wash?

the two that i see being talked about most often are the CG microfiber wash and micro-restore.

is one better than the other and is the $10 premium for micro-restore worth it?

    any input is appreciated

I have used both and I prefer micro-restore. Both of them will do a decent job though ...

You might have to use something a little bit stronger when dealing with tough sealants like Blackfire Wet Diamond and 845.

For tough jobs, I usually fill a 5 gallon bucket with boiling water and 2 oz of micro-restore & 0.5-1 oz of APC (ZEP citrus). Let the mfs soak for a few hours.

I warn you that there are some MF's that start linting after a APC wash (uber no-names for example).

all i have ever used is micro-restore, so i cant comment on the CG one. some people use apc's and some use regular detergent and vinegar.

I have used both and CG microwash is pretty nice and works just as well I think. You cant go wrong with both of them but I get CG as its a bit cheaper.

Hold on, APC will make my MFs start linting? That frightens me a bit.

What causes them to lint in the first place? Saw it a little bit on my CG Fluffers and I was riled up.

I use Micro-Restore. Havent heard anyone have a problem with soaking them in APC.

I had lint issues with my uber no-names after an APC wash. I'm not saying that all mfs lint after an APC treatment. I own a lot of different mfs and I haven't had issues with any of them except the ubers. Maybe I got a bad batch of no-names ... dunno.

No names have a tendency to lint. New or washed.

My No-Names lint as well. I did wash them before using.

I find that the thicker the nap is, the more likely the linting will be. Very annoying.

x1 ... I also find this very annoying, but these towels are awesome for ONR washes were lint issues don't really matter.

Ive used both. I prefer the Micro-Fiber restore. The micro-fibers feels cleaner.

CG is cheaper, but if you clean old polish left on your MFs, some spots will still be there ...

I have used CG and DP mf washes and really could not tell any practical difference. I have started using the pre-soak cycle along with the second rinse option. IBoth seemed to work better than regular wash detergents (Woolite He) which some claim cannot clean mf... I have sprayed APC like a pre-wash spray on some chennile mitts to insure ONR comes out.
