I keep using the Iron X until it doesn't react(turn red) any longer. Some areas, e.g. iron filings, may need 2 applications or a dap with a damp MF sprayed with IronX. And I don't just 'spot clay' - I treat all surfaces that I intend to polish/seal.

    Kind regards,

let me start by saying, WHAT A GREAT CAR you got there Sir!
secondly, a very nice job on a very deserving car.
and finally I couldnt help but notice how more pronounced the texture on today's late model Mercs is compared to the old ones. Old Mercs used to have very minimum texture. but i notice, starting from MY 1999 and above , they start to have more textures. wonder what has changed in the production line? is it an aftermath of the Chrysler period? or is it just the paint application method / technology that has changed? anyone could chime in on this? i'd be really greatful
