Wow!!! Impressive work, Jimmy! I love red especially when it's properly polished. This is a perfect example on how wet red can look when it's flawless.

Mind sharing the polishes you used? I'll guess M105/D300/PF/PO85RD?

Being that everyone on this forum is supportive and no one whines when certain things aren't shared UNLIKE the whiny bitchy and lazy crowd over at Autopia that feel entitled to know everything without putting forth effort I wouldn't mind sharing at all.

Menzerna S500 Fast Gloss was used in conjunction with a Surbuf Pad, followed by a Chemical Guys Optical Pad ( Must Have Better Than A Megs Pad ) with D300, Menzerna Power Finish With a LC Hydrotech Tangerine Pad, and 85rd with a LC Black Finishing Pad!

That was quite a transformation sir.

Thank you for sharing your hard work with us. Was that process on the whole car or did certain areas only need the 4 steps? Do you have a review or the like on the CG optical pads? The long nap of the Megs pads can be a pain imo.

When you sent the car back east, was it in a closed trailer?

The Optical Pad sounds awesome. I wonder how it will hold up; I know most people are having issues with the Megs MF pad separating.

Killer work on this car. The owner will be in shock as usual.

The whole car was done with 4 steps! The CG optical pads are awesome and much better than Megs in my opinion... I have used them on 5 different cars now and I am getting the same results each time. They Cut Faster with less passes, finish down nicer, and I haven't had a problem with them splitting apart. They have a little bit of more give when you put some pressure on them but best of all they don't clump up after a hood and a door! I would highly recommend these pads I'm honestly probably never going to use the Megs pads again unless I'm out of the Optical Pads.
