does the finishing polish P085rd dust or acts up in wierd weather conditions ? and im assuming this is used more for a finishing or paint cleansing stage before wax , rather than for correction ? also, say after SIP or a strong compound, which leaves behind holograms, will the P075rd be good enough to remove them ? or is it necessary to step down to a medium strength like 106 , then back to 085 at the end ?
Po85RD produces very little, if any dust. I haven't had problems with it but maybe someone from a hotter climate could chime in on this. 85RD will remove the holograms left by SIP.
yup the temperamental wierd stuff by mernzerna will be an issue for me if it happens to the p085rd. as i'm in a rather hot and humid climate... any more inputs guys ?
i live in miami... doesn't get any more hot and humid than here... 85RD barely ever dusts, and i have never had it act weird on me. i use it after SIP or on brand new cars.
after SIP, then p085rd on what pad ? i'm thinking grey , or maybe even white LC ? and on the topic of mernzerna acting up , did you ever experience SIP acting wierd in your hot and humid miami climate ? thanks
Weather can have an affect on Menz polishes, but no worse than any other product thats been formulated for use in the temp / humidity controlled environment of an OEM production facility. . . Note that silicone has an adverse effect on the oils used for surface lubrication and can cause the polish to smear, also be aware that working outside you may have issues like excess humidity, heat, cold, etc that will affect there performance especially with the Nano polish (105FF) as it uses wax as a lubricant (colder temps may cause the wax to harden)
Thats funny that you guys should mention Menzerna acting up in different conditions. Until now I thought it was me...:shrug:
85Rd seems to be easy to work with in most weather conditions and it is a finish polish before your lsp. If you need some correction use sip.
I've used PO85RD in temps ranging from 35 degrees to 85+ degrees and have never had any issues.:shrug:
