Feedbacks? Looking for an OTC sealant so that I don't have to pay for shipping just for one item. Wanted to get your expert opinion on this.

If you think it sucks, can you give me an alternative? (otc or online)

I love JetSeal109 from Chemical guys. I have Bilt Hamber Auto Balm on the way, I'll be able to advise on that when I get it.

The sealant I use on most customer cars is Jetseal109, sometimes I top it with CG Blitz if I'm feeling generous.

I've never used it -- but I haven't been a fan of OTC stuff since I went "professional" and started getting paid for my work.

DG 105 is a favourite standby here and for good reason. The 111 is very nice too with a bit more of a carnuba look to it. If you order from Duragloss directly, there is a flat $5. shipping cost...hard to beat that. Plus, you should really try the Aquawax or the Fast clean and shine...both enhance the look even more if used after.

If I remember correctly #20 is NXT wax but boosted a bit and formulated so you can apply it via a rotary. I think as far as OTC goes it is pretty decent, DG is going to beat it in durability by a long shot. You should find DG at CarQuest, but shipping directly from them is only $5.

Been reading more about the DG 105 lots of great reviews, I guess I can give that a try. I guess CarQuest carries DG right?

I guess my main point is that if OTC is really not worth it, I don't mind going online shopping since I need to be re-stocking on wax, MF towles, etc. anyways.

#20 is the polymer sealant on the mirror glaze line. I just got some recently, but yet to try it. Heard it was decent though.

Ok real noob question here. But it says its a polish...am I missing something here?

It has some cleaning ability, but I can't imagine that it's strong a la, Klasse AIO. It's meant more for a LSP than anything.

The DG brand is really popular, but i've never used it, don't have any CarQuest around here.

M20 Polymer Sealant is not an over-the-counter product. It is part of Megs' professional line. It is a light AIO cleaner wax, with a bit more cutting power than Meguiar's consumer-line Cleaner Wax but less than ColorX. It is exceptionally easy to apply and remove. I've never heard of anyone experiencing any streaking problems with it (though no doubt it happens). It leaves a slick, glossy finish. Kevin Brown is a big fan of M20:

Many folks over at MOL use it as their base sealant and top it with their preferred LSP. It's definitely a product worth trying.

I would beg to differ on it being OTC. The parts store around the corner carries almost as much of the Mirror Glaze line as they do other Meguiar's stuff. Sure not every store is like that, but they do have an alright selection on Meg's.

o'Riley's if you have one close by you can order any Megs products you want, from Mirror Glaze to the Detailers line.

From what I have found out, a PBE (paint and body) store that carries Meg's will get you anything you want. The local Raleigh Carquest paint place (not the parts place) was willing to get some other Meg's stuff for me.

I use M20,it's a great wax,but not the best on durability. Easy on Easy off.

I have never seen M20 at any of the local auto stores here in Roanoke. Never. And I have visited a bunch But that is irrelevant to the question whether M20 is worthy of one's consideration.

More cleaning ability than standard Meg's cleaner wax? Is there any way to prove this? I wouldn't have thought that it would be more aggressive

I guess it brings me to my next OTC comparison. I see lots of review (especially on here) about DG 105, hows it stack up? Its half the price, but people seem to love it. Also, the DG bottle says polish on it, is it a polish or sealant?

Local auto stores is not the same as local parts stores. Except for O'Reilly's, no OTC place carries much. The Carquest (not just CQ brand) place did.

There is a very and I mean very slight cleaning ability to 105. 111 has none. It is nothing to worry about and if you weren't told that, you'd never know it. Their best product for cleaning paint it 501. If you want a very complete (and I dare say exhaustive) discussion on Duragloss products, check
