Massive Overspray Removal Help!

    It means it comes off as a little plugish :).

    I can't really see adhesive remover working either(though if he has it its worth a shot) but paints and some things that people use as exterior sealing products for the home, are usually urethane or lacquer based meaning like dissolves like and would need something probably more appropriate.

    If its sap or some type of dew drops, because it is spring/summer, IPA will do a fine job. I would search David Fermani's threads on Autopia where he outlines an easy way to get rid of overspray.. though i think as with most jobs it will take a bit of time.

    i think that 3m adhesive remover is completely worth a shot. it would save him all the trouble of claying. you never know.

    I think whatever he ends up using, he needs to backtrack and source where he got this crap stuck on his car from. At the very least get paid for his time to remove it.
