Hey guys didnt know where to put this. Maybe a mod can put it in an appropriate section. I also posted on another forum for comparison All of the work I do, I get by word of mouth passed along or directly myself. I run a pretty private operation have been very good on keeping this to keep client integrity up. I can deliver everything expected and vice versa. I was thinking that eventually down the grapevine I would have a customer who knew someone in at least one of few of these very wealth(like almost obscene wealth) areas around me. Nothing yet. I now want to target them for the spring and summer and am very unsure how to do so. I have gone back and forth with how to approach these people. They are never outside their houses, never see them in their cars so thats out. I have now been thinking of literally going door to door(which I'm almost sure will be perceived as rude or intrusive) OR typing up a letter explaining briefly what I'm about, signing it and including a card, sealing in an envelope and placing in their mailbox. Open to all suggestions. Keep in mind I am normally referral and word of mouth grown. Thanks very much everyone
Sorry but I am 99.9% sure you are not allowed to put anything inside someones mail box. I think you are on the right track. I would right down some streets you want to target. Then go to the county web site. Search the street, find the owners name and address. Then send them a post card. When the weather breaks you might see some landscapers in the area. See if you can do some net working with them. Maybe work out a referral deal with them. I will keep thinking :shrug: Maybe talk with some of the managers at the country clubs :shrug:
Does anyone pay for advertising? if so what kind. maybe a list would be cool. maybe everyones in the phone book but know has ever been on a billboard, or vice versa.

It still gives you good exposure. I am also going to look at posting a page in Facebook although I have yet to do so.
