no phil we want pics now lol it is going to be sad seeing the thing messed up but i still want to see it .
Now here are some pics of the shop OEM BMW Paint! Now heres a SALVAGED car that someone decided to pay and be put back together!
Phil thank god for being well and being around to see your wife again , see your child grow. I know what you mean when your whole life flashes in front of you ,I have experienced that. Get well soon.
Phil, it HURTS to see your car in that kind of shape. But it looks like it's in good hands according to the pictures of the bodyshop! The place where you took pictures of your M5, where is that?
WOW, im not on this forum for 2 weeks and look what happens!! dude you got off lucky, i was in a worse accident. i would post pics but im too embarassed as it was all my fault, i got stupid. im glad to see another person i know (directly or indirectly) walk away from a accident. from the pics you posted, the most expensive thing to replace is the rear subframe. ties the suspension, diff and control arms to the chassis, and appears that its tweaked a good bit by how close the tire is to the fender compared to the other side which is doesnt look much better. as well as the quarter panel... welded to the chassis. $100k car you say? all you do is detail? wow, i wanna be just like FMINUS when i get more experienced!
jeez! glad you are ok...hope they fix it to your liking I have this funny feeling after its fixed your going to jump out of this car and pick up an alpina b7
Ohh the horror... I don't feel so good after looking at those pictures!!! Man, sure hope it's "the same" when you get it back...
What, you could've at least washed the thing before taking pics!!! JK, buddy, again good to see you made it out ok. I remember my first car accident and my dad was more pissed that the car was dirty then wrecked. With the front end all banged up, he made me drive it home (still drivable) and wash it immediately. Guess it runs in the blood...
Oooh those are bad pictures :scared: but better the vehicle then you right. Man the vehicle sure took a beating though :shakehead: That shop looks wicked, looks big. Looks like it's in good hards. Hope you receive it to your liking. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Phil..I don't know how I missed this thread...I am very glad you're ok. Makes you realize how fleeting life can be. Take care of yourself bud!
That shop was awesome they had every machine possible to work on any type of frame damage and aluminum work. They also pointed out a car they fixed and asked if I could tell where the damage was, and of course, I couldnt.
