Hey guys, I'm working on an Audi A4 now. I need to have this car back by Sunday and can only work on it for a few hours a night after I get off work. I started playing with polishes today. I'm really looking for a nice 2 step, but have found that M205 and a white CCS pad on the rotary is not doing much. I know I'm going to step up to M105 and wool, but what I'm not too sure about is what to follow that up with that will clean up the marring, yet finish down nicely for LSP. I have M205, SIP and Nano. What are your thoughts. Unfortunately I don't have the time to make this a three step process. Thanks for any suggestions.
I would say use Nano on a pad with a little cut such as LC black or Uber Blue. You will need something to get some of the marring that 105 put into the paint, dont think a zero cut pad with Nano will do that. That is going to be your best bet, or to use Nano on a white pad, I have had good results with this as well.
Josh go back over the car with a lighter cutting pad and 105, then go over it with a finishing pad and finishing polish. The third step will not take you that long. If you have anymore misery call me tomorrow.
Thanks for all the help. This actually kept me up last night thinking about my different options lol. I was thinking about using the Nano and a green pad actually, but what is this you're telling me Dana? You mean follow up the wool with like 105/white and then finish with UF?
