I've been watching the BBC all day watching this scum destroy the city, it's absolutely unbelievable what's going on there. But watching this video made me lose hope for mankind. May the vile spineless excuses for humans rot in hell.
majority or rioters do not even care about the issue at hand...... they are just violent mal adjusted people.
The funny thing is, is the majority of British people always say that Americans are the violent ones...
Are you saying American's haven't done their fair share of being violent? What majority do you speak of? Have you done some tallying or a census of some sort?
I'm not saying that at all. I know we have. But almost every British person that I have met (I know alot of British people) act like their society is perfect compared to ours.
And in all honestly, I wish they had some American-style policing to clean this up. I've seen all the videos so far. No water cannons. No rubber bullets. Nothing. Of course these scum rioters are going to keep doing it if they know there won't be any repercussions... Remember, the LA riots of 1992 lasted six days. Already on the SECOND day the National Guard sent 2,000 men out there. The London riots are going on day four. They only have 1,400 riot police. Where is the army?
yeah, makes you wonder. Im not a fan of a police state or overt government control, but at some level they need to step in and drop the hammer........ but then you have the other side saying rubber bullets, and water cannons are too aggressive. To those folks, I say book a flight for syria and see what real violence is.
I just want to say, for anyone here or else where in the effected. May God keep you safe. What's happening right now is horrible and I would like a quick and speedy end to the riots.
Kilo6_one writes: This basically expresses my view of the situation. This thread could easily turn political and I don't think this is the place for that. In this specific case it definitely appears that water canons and tear gas would have been appropriate and perhaps rubber bullets but that is a higher risk option. As Kilo6_one notes at some level in the face of overt criminal behavior the state has to drop the hammer but the internal security apparatus of the state (not limited to the police by any stretch) is not something to take lightly.
Sad situation. The unrest began for one reason but keeps going due to folk that are looking for an excuse to loot . Sad thing is if the economy continues here this exact scene maybe coming to a city near you.
why can't humanity rise above? so sad. I'm with P1et on losing hope, especially after hearing what happened in Wisconsin at their state fair last Thursday.
Was wondering when someone was going to say this....................of course everyone KNOWS I would...(lol). There is similar sentiment here in California where "Illegal immigrants" protested because they wanted "Free education" where as a Californian citizen must pay more as the tuition was just raised, common sense and work ethic have gone out the window.......................as people EXPECT that they get things for free and are "Butt hurt" if they do not get what they want. Until things are put in order and this conduct is not tolerated it will continue unabated.
I am so sick of these losers. After watching the riots unfold here after the Stanley Cup, it just makes you sad that people can act this way. The police should be allowed to quell the crowds using any means possible. You break the law, we hand you your ass. Period. And for all the pussies that think tear gas and rubber bullets are too harsh, maybe you would change your mind if it was you they were stealing from or your business they were trashing.
