Leaving my job

It was going to happen anyways so I took the extra money in a buyout, I can use that for my business

i would have kept your job until you found something else.. it's tough out there..even people i know who graduated #1 in their class + 5 years experience is having a tough time..guys i know all over my industry (packaging) are very scared to lose their jobs..i am currently helping a few people get jobs..it is a tough place..esp with obama spending money he shouldn't. I would like to know if a stimulus didn't work in the past for us or japan or any country who has tried it..how is this going to help us?

he just signed a bill that gave federal contracts to unions that contributed to his campaign..to pay them back and then some so to speak..I thought there was change happening? same old crap. the market our financial institution has shown they are not confident in his decision making with the market doing terrible and responding to obama's descisions negatively. why not just cut taxes across the board and give business' a break..that has been proven to work and doesn't require the abuse obama has in his stimulus package..loaded with friend helping contracts again.. first it had 6-700 million to rebuild america's malls? 300 million to tell kids not to have sex with strangers..i mean come on..that is not stimulating the economy by any means. obama is a joke..funny how soo many people thought he was soooo different.

If he waited too long though they might not of offered a buy out. I know a lot of guys here with the Detroit 3 that did not take buy outs thinking their jobs would be safe and now they are jobless without a buyout of any kind. I can't wait for this economy to turn around.

 

Your right, the next buyout that was offered was less than half of the current

 

I think I am glad I am leaving, been pretty busy and I usually don't start until middle of April. Some pics to follow when I get a chance. I am also doing clearbra this year as well, wahoooo
