i am into my 2nd day of detailing my white 04 sti, and have already washed, clayed, polished, sealed with jetseal 109 and put on a single thin layer of supernatural. i was considering layering a 2nd layer of another wax over the SN, or just putting a 2nd coat of it on, these are my choices
    50/50
    53
    lusso oro
    double wax
    purple haze
    blue velvet.
what would you do and y, thanks.

man nice little wax collection there. I personally love 50/50 easy on easy off and it gave me car a great look and was pretty durable at that.

    what: 2nd layer of SN.

why: I only use 1 carnauba wax at a time.

SN and double wax is very similar, and on a white car, in your collection only SN and Lusso oro stands out the most. IMO SN looks a little better than Lusso oro though, so there's really no point of covering SN with Lusso oro

I'm with pektel on this one. I never mix and match my carnaubas. I'd go for the 2nd layer of SN.

thanks guys i was thinking of just doing a 2nd coat of sn, but what about using the soft wax like blue or purple over sn, i know that they say they are for dark colored cars but i think it may give it a nice look, any thoughts.

i recently tried SN for the first time. I liked it better than Banana Armour on my yellow car. I thought it popped a little more with Orange Crush (soft DoDo wax for warm colors) on top of it.

Just tried it this past weekend so not sure how it will hold up, and didn't get to see it much in the sun (rainy weather lately) so I am not 100% on it yet, but first impressions are that I like it better with a layer of Orange Crush.....

Supernatural is dodo's purist wax but dont be put off layering it with a soft wax, remember, nuba is nuba.
SN is a durable purs nuba wax where as something like purple haze is far softer, richer with oils and wetter looking so layering is giving you a win/win situation guys ( just remember to maybe leave a day for SN to settle/cure then apply a layer of whatever soft wax you fancy, best another juice wax tbh )

Layering isnt all that bad and does give benefits in the fact that you get tougher durability but with added bling and warmth.
DW double wax is hard/soft combo, rubbish boys OE and dodo juiced edition pair extremely well also.

Just curious, did you pick up the Fantastic Four sampler that contains all four of those waxes? I've been thinking about buying that sampler and it has those four waxes (30ml), so i was just wondering how you like them.

I dont think topping difference waxes over eachother is ideal, go with a second coat of SN and keep it simple.
