Well Photoshop gives you a 30 day free trial of CS3. I just downoaded it from the Adobe website. I dont know if all the actions are included with the trial version but its enough to confuse the hell out of me. I know after this trial runs out I will look into purchasing it. Where have you guys found the best prices?

 

It's a little confusing.

You can download the actions online for free, then you install them into photoshop. Anyone can write an action and put it up online for others to use.

I doubt that the trial has a limitation that doesn't allow actions, so look around for one online and give it a shot. I think the link I put up earlier in this thread has one available.

 

Anybody use Aperature? I have a mac so i get a trial version of it

 

Ahhh I see what you mean by actions now:doh:

I just kept playing with each function untill I found the tools that made something that kind looked like what you had made. IIRC I used the lighting effects, a couple different filters, and added a bunch of vignetting. I will look into downloading some more actions :thumb:

just google up....photoshop actions and you can get tunzzzzzz

 

Gave it a try but not quite sure where I maybe went wrong, it seems kinda over-exposed to me. Looks pretty cool anyways and she is now my new wallpaper !
