Is it necessary to use a Pre-Wax cleanser?

I'm a big fan of the prewax cleaner and do prefer to use the same brand ad the wax I'm testing

You'll gain more from using a paint cleaner than any wax straight up regardless of price or marketing efforts

ive used quite alot of them now, and there are some standout glaze/paint cleaners out there, notably clearkote vmg and rmg, they give the best finish I've ever seen on black

there are basically two types of paint cleaners, ones that can be layered with a sealant and ones that can't

For sealants the easiest cleaner I've used is prima amigo, for carnaubas you can't beat ck rmg/vmg mixed 1:1

re above, the only cleaners I know that have any tangible abbrassiveness is dodo lime prime (not light), poliseal, ck vmg and srp. Most others if they claim corrective abilities will do so with fillers, eg bf gep, amigo, ezcreme, zymol fg etc

    Lusso is a great cleaner-only

It won't fill or glaze, just deep clean. Great for glass
