Introducing the Uber Flat Foam Buffing Pads

Only two foam manufactures in the world. I haven't tried all the pads made, but i do notice a difference from some different manufactures pads made. 3m, Megs, LC, Sonus, etc. to bring some to mind. Just trying to sort this all out.
Thanks Phil for providing these pads and the time and energy to do this, not an easy task.

 

Nice pads Phil. My 3M UK orange pads have the recessed velco as well. It's a nice feature, and helps with better centering in pad application, I think.

 

currently the pads look like what you see in the pictures they are not rounded out.

the 6.5 inch are a bit rounded though

 

they are about 1.5 inches thick.

 

yes they are firm just like the LC orange

Yep LC red. It seems Patrick at Excel Detail is one of the few that sells them AFAIK. They're pretty cheap too. I don't know why but I'm picky, I prefer the red 4" pads to the black ones. Pretty soon I'll be dedicating my red pads to their own LSPs.

 

Autogeek sells the LC ccs pads in 4" as well.

just recieved my order today (one orange and one blue 5.5" along with some other goodies). pads look great phil! looking forward to trying them out.

 

What happened to the CCS euro red applicators? I was just placing an order for pads, and have to wait to see if I can still get these...

 

yeah seems they disappeared. i had ordered one a couple weeks back, but havent seen them on the site since.

 

hahaha maybe I can send you the hundreds I stopped using if you want to put a new order in I will throw in old pads.... : )

We sold out of them as I thought not many people really use them I guess I will have to get more in.

 

definitely bring back the CCS Euro applicatos! i picked one up to try them out and really like them. looking to order some more of them ;-). it's my applicator of choice now actually.
