I am swearing by the Scholl window cleaner. It's a gel, so it sticks to the window and doesn't drip. So far, best cleaner I've used. No streaking, even with a single MF.

23 replies and no one mentioned Stoners IG - WTF? I can use IG and a single MF towel and do a whole car streak free. Get the can, not the plastic spray bottle stuff.

I have had no luck whatsoever with Zep Glass Cleaner, I diluted just like it calls for with Distilled Water and still streaks like a mofo. CG Glass Cleaner is what I have had better luck with using a green Uber Glass towel and I do a wipe down immediately after with a CG yellow MF

I love IG. I use IG with 1 MF Peak Windshield & Glass Cloth. No need for two towels with this cloth, no streaks or residue.

I currently use sprayway glass cleaner, and 2 towels. a WW towel for cleaning, and longer nap MF to buff

if the glass isn't too bad, or it's cleaned routinely, I sometimess will just use quick detailer on the interior glass (and the 2 towels of course). if you use QD, I find you have to use a longer nap towel to remove any trace of it while buffing

I use sprayway glass cleaner, two glass towels and a california water blade. no streak. I spray the inside of the window heavy with glass cleaner, and use one of the towels to scrub the glass and to make sure the product is spread to break up the scum and fillm. Then while still wet (spraying heavy helps prevent the cleaner from drying up), I use the water blade to squeegee off the cleaner. overlap you passed to minimize lines, I use the second towel to wipe off edges near the pillars and head liner and dash that i can't get to with the water blade.

Been using Stoner's IG, and still use the 2 MF towel method. Produces streak free result everytime. Oh and wear some nitrile gloves just in case your hand slips when you're wiping and put a big oily finger print on your nicely cleaned glass.

I've been using MF gloves when cleaning glass. Prevents smudges and kind of handy to just wipe any you see with a gloved hand.

One of the quicker methods of a wipedown would be to use a quick detailer to be honest. What I would do at the dealership would be to blow all of the dirt out of the cracks and seats and then vacuum the carpets etc. I would then spray the panels and such with a quick detailer (mind you not a quick interior detailer, but a QD like Finish Kare 425 or Adams Detail Spray) give them a wipe down with a microfiber and then buff and blow dry the areas with either the tail end of my Metro Vac N' Blow or an air hose until the Qd has evaporated and didn't leave streaks. The method is actually pretty effective. Not many substances on the door panels won't come off with QD, and if this is the case then you probably aren't being contracted to do so. You might actually be able to do this on the windows. Two towels is always necessary.
