Could not find where the OP said "Best of shows" wax?, read the post three times maybe I am missing something. The Concorso is really nice and smells good as well, 915 is incredible for the price point and the durability is great.............have not used it in awhile and I need to break it out again.

I think they were just referring to the fact that it gives you one show and not many shows as in it only lasts on day haha....

admittedly, if you saw my "sun pics" on the show and shine section, the griot's BOS looks pretty good once you remove it....just comes all off in a rain storm :(

Admittedly, I know they probably engineered that wax for show days and not protection, but gosh 1 week and it's gone after a wash? That doesn't even count as a wax.

My SUV is sealed with Zaino & Werkstat Acrylic Jet Trigger. I got lazy & left bird bombs on the paint for three days and the paint looked fine when I finally used QD to wash it off. I just washed the SUV this afternoon and I couldn't find any ill effects..

Just to be clear, the sealant does not diminish resistance to bird bombs and actually increases the amount of time they take to etch. However, it's not much as the sealant is molecularly cross-linked with the paint. 3 days isn't much, say 14 days(estimate) on a black car during the summer that sits outside. For an enthusiast, this isn't a problem. I was referring more to clients who want great protection and don't get to wash their car very often, I would reach for Collinite 915 over Menzerna Powerlock any day, although powerlock is still my staple as most of my clients care about their cars. For those, I usually recommend that they pick up a spray wax and go over the car once a month or so just to add protection against this kind of stuff until the car sees a fresh detail.

I should also note that Wolf's Body Wrap is quickly replacing Powerlock as my staple, and I'm curious to see how it stands up to acid and other environmental damage.

Also, back on topic, the Griot's garage Clay is also available at Advance Auto for $20 for 225g of clay. Just for comparison, Meguiar's Professional is also sold there for $32 for a 200g bar, so the Griot's is the best OTC clay deal that I know of. I used it and it works quite well, no marring so far.

Griot's clay is hands down the most mild clay available. It's twice as soft as Sonus white, and after you soak it in warm water its effortless to knead, also I think Griot's speed shine is perhaps the most lubricated clay lube I've ever used. I've used ONR at various dilutions and Last Touch, but still think Speed Shine has the most epic lubricity for claying. I would probably say that for claying, griot's is the best system for me. The clay + speed shine is the only clay system I've ever used that will just not marr at all, won't even show up on jet black. Also, it's surprisingly effective even on heavier overspray and bonded contaminants. The only thing it doesn't seem to remove is tar and bonded iron, which I believe is better to use Iron Cut and Auto Finesse Tar remover to remove anyways.

Their wax, however, is just terrible.
