Important notes about CQuartz application and care

coating is fully cured in about 7 days before it can be washed with soap
it shouldnt be washed for at least 12 hours.
your problem is that you didnt remove it for a week i assume. bird crap cant be on there for more then 2 days. somehow it damages the coating

 

any issues applying Cquartz to windows? any tips on that?

 

tried to do it to mine. had issue but it was my fault and now solution been posted on cquartz website. after you polish and clean windows with ipa/dawn mix make sure you rinse the window very good to make sure all Dawn that was left on there from ipa/dawn wipe down is removed.
cquartz cures a lot faster on glass so you only need to wait about 10 min at 25C

So what's reccomended wait time before you expose the coating to outdoor elements?
And your saying after the coating has FULLY Cured (7 days) a bird dropping has to be removed with in 2 days or it will damage the coating?

 

the coating dry after 12 hours already, we say dont soap wash for 7 days, water wash/touch is ok.
birds dropping are the worst problem for car paint, with sunlight its even more damage, so even if you get outdoor elements , just rinse them with water.
