Nice, I'll be getting lightroom then because that's a great way to save time. I can't figure out how to use presets in Photoshop and haven't found any tutorials on it. You shall be receiving PM's shortly for guidance! Thanks for the answer, btw.
I use Lightroom too, and Nikon Software for removing some problems on NEF(RAW) files. LR is great for organizing + you will be able to handle a lot of pictures in relatively short time. As already said in this thread, enhancing your detailing results is not the way to go IMO, some members on here are making the reflections etc. look sharper, deeper and better.
Thanks for letting me know! It might not be only for detailing purposes that he or others may want a program which can do this. I will admit to editing even my "after" shots. I "auto color" them in photoshop to correct imbalances caused by light sources.I also add or remove brightness, depending on how over/under exposed my shot is. I do not remove or modify any content in the image itself, and I do not make images "sharper" either. Besides the detailing, I also have fun doing other things in PS, such as changing colors of things to see how they'd look before I actually spend money on the change (color of wheels for example) or simply having fun with HDR merging.
