    go 16x24, nothing else

16x16 is too small by the time you fold it up for gripping

    Ive noticed that......... good tip.

Ive used 16x16 for the longest time and never thought about that......

Yes, while I look for quality, I keep in the back of my mind I don't want to pay more then I have too. So awhile back i started looking for wholesalers for MF since I use so many of them, this was before I even found detailers domain. I bought a few Ubers to try out thinking they were going to be better or equivelent then my 530s, to my suprise they are the exact same, now does phil get them from MFtech, I dont know. They may not be the exact same, but the pile, the edge and the label that peels off is identical.

Im not save a ton, but enough to justify buying 50 at a time and not worrying if they fall on the ground. Those go to the house or dog shelter where they use them on the dogs.

    tax write off too LOL

Im not a pro, I dont do more then two cars a week by choice but I like to think of my 4 years in college and 6 years in managment I am somewhat business savy and I dont look to spend unessacary expenses. Also, I love the costco towels for tires, jams etc...... been using those since 2000 LOL.

buy two packs, pre wash them, it helps them from getting grabby......
great for window, better then the surgical towels my wife brings me.
Sops up excess tire shine, I use them on wheels, plastic mouldings, tires, wheels, engine bays, door jams, interior plastics, seats when using APC, carpets, anything other then body panels. I have just as many of those as I do of the highline towels.

CHEAP and again, you wont feel bad if you drop them on the ground. Use them in the house........

    13.00 for 36 is a great deal.

also if you go online costco, they have another brand, slightly better quality as well. Not sure if I would use them on painted panels, i have not tried them.

MFtech sells waffle weave as well......

Kilo6_one, thanks for posting the link to microfibertech. I agree with you that MF towels are so expensive when you get it from online retailers. I didn't know you can get it from a wholesaler like that. I won't name names either but their extra plush 530 looks very similar to most other companies' MF. I ordered a 10 pack just to see if they're similar. I'm so pissed I spent a ton of money on MFs from retailers GRRR

    THANKS AGAIN kilo6!!!

    360 GSM towels from Microfibertech
    [IMG]

360gsm verus CG 560 gsm whatever they call them MF towels...... I use these on my car only because they match. (gay I know)

Label off 360 gsm & close up of the edging which appears to be flannel of some type

my lazy ass dog with her 360 GSM MF blanket my wife made from fabric at joann's LMAO

I have had nothing but good luck with MFtech, I have been buying towels from them for two years now. Shipping is inexpensive because then ship them in a bag so it adds ZERO weight like a carboard box.

and correction, the towels Ive been using are the 360 GSM, (light blue) the dark blue are 530 gsm, so they are thicker and denser.

I had to look at my invoice from MFtech.

anyway, I hope I have been a help to those looking to save a few bucks on the inventory and make a few bucks on the details

I just placed an order for 20 blue 530 gsm and 20 green 530 Gsm and shipping was 10.00 for a total of 118.00 for 40 towels which makes them 2.95 a towel......

Note: 90% of what I have seen on the market being sold is 360, not 530, and the difference too me is minute. As you can see they are denser and thicker, but the performance in is about the same. Is it worth it to buy the 530 versus the 360? Depends on the person.....

so apparently CG cant do 19.99 shipping as its way below cost thus I have to pay 30 bucks more for USPS shipping for ze towels. Their website still doesnt calculate properly for Canada apparently.
so that the current calculation per towel cost is 90/18 towels = 5 bucks a towel IF i dont get taxed/etc.
I have way too many boxes coming as well... lol
