As the title states, I have been pondering whether I like Swissvax Crystal Rock, Divine, Mystery, Smaragd(my current fav. for the money) or Zymol Vinage, which I have been admiring from Polished Bliss's details lately.

I want PICS please!

 

i agree BOS for the mony imo cannot be beat.. just an awesome wax.

still Crystal Rock is the best wax i have used.. just unreal to use. so easy like bos but better. still i really would love some vintage but i think it's gonna have to wait.. i have enough wax to last me half my life as it is. but either later this year or next vintage will eventually be mine!!

 

You aren't going to be able to tell the difference between LSP's with pictures.

 

Agreed and even if you could Shine/glow are the main characteristics that you may be able to capture in a photo...

Depth is 3D... pictures are not therefore, it is not possible to show the delta of 2 lsp's when speaking on depth in pictures...

 

I agree with both you and D&D on this. I generally go on the recommendations of people I trust on here. So far that has yet to steer me wrong. As a matter of fact the one time I went against advice from one of the members I truely trust I ended up with a wax I didn't like.

Anyway my vote would be for Vintage. I love the stuff. Give me Vintage and Rubbish Boys OE and I don't need any other waxes.

 

I have to say that up until I got my sampler of Vintage from a member here, I was quite happy with the range of waxes at my disposal including SN, RG55 and 42, AG Hi Def etc. Some very nice waxes in their own right. Well, a few nights ago I polished half the hood on my Passat and laid down a strip of Vintage next to one of my other waxes. F$%k me. The difference was SO significant that Stevie Wonder could have seen it. You bastards are costing me nothing but money!

Regrettably, pictures don't do waxes any justice.

Some people aren't fond of Zymol or there 'policies' but at the end of the day there waxes deliver great results.

Having said that I also like Crystal Rock, Victoria..ect..ect..list goes one...but Vintage sits on the top shelf of my collection :cheerl:
