How much do you charge for your details?

That's a good idea and its kind of what I've been doing with friend's and neighbor's cars, just to get an average time. So far I have undercharged on every one that I have done.

 

Last year, because of lack of a garage, I've detailed only leather interiors and charged $100 per interior. I think that the price reflect the quality. If you charge too less, you think that after 10 hours spent on a car you get only $100 (it's just an example) and you want to do the same job in less hours, doing this you will not do the job perfectly. Everywhere in the world quality and luxury is expensive.

this thread has some very very good information guys. You all just inspired me LoL. I have been wanting to instill some form of correction in my details at least a 1 step to get the most out of the vehicle.

Business has been slow here and now i just need to figure out the best pad and product combo for a 1 stepper that will not require a finishing polish as mentioned earlier. I've been wanting to instill some form of correction on details to give the vehicle that extra wow factor.

I have been hearing a ton about Menzerna Power Finish but have also heard good things about

and
Meguiars DG151 Reconditioning Cream

more insight on what to use would be excellent.
