I'm wondering how I should go about removing the aquartz coating from my vehicle? About a month ago was my first attempt at really detailing a car so I compounded my X3 and didn't really have the proper lighting and then sealed it with aquartz. The next day when I had it out int he sun I realized that I didn't do a very good job at removing the swirls and now I want to try again.

It is a semi-permanent coating, so it will need to be polished off.

Wait a couple of months and it will be dead. Or, as as previous poster above wrote, just polish it.

    Don't wet sand it.
    You can buff it off.

I was thinking wet sanding might be a "little" much. Thanks guys.
