Hey Shiny, no, not a complete car.. I wrote that last night very late and today I just crashed. I have tried it on a car, and a tire, and a 30 yr old dull porcelain grill, and wood and a refrigerator..... More things during this week, before I ship out the samples. My impression... it looks like wax! I'm not a salesman, so I can't tout my own horn.. perhaps in a little over a week, some testers can give us the bad news.
Hmm, this will be an interesting test for your testers. I hope to hear good things from this. Who knows, maybe you'll be the next "Ben" :thumb:
Well... For about 7 hours I've debated how to write this.. As of now, their will be no testing. I'm not going any further with this. I'm not pleased with what I have, so no use handing something like this out... Thanks for reading.
Keep at it Cyclo, you will get there eventually The hazing aspect of the wax is my next hurdle, got a formula thats nice and I am happy with but I want it to haze like a regular wax for removal...oh well back to the drawing board I guess !
2 pots shipping tomorrow for Alpha testing. You've heard the expression "Abandon hope all ye who enter..." Well that's what I had to do. My brain is kinda SHOT, so whatever enters has to displace something that is already there. I just couldn't find an acceptable solvent that I liked and had to go the conventional route. 5 waxes, 1 oil 1 solvent and the test batch has a 50/50 mix of a peach smell with just a fresh hint of SOLVENT. yuck...... At this point, that's immaterial. While that is out... I'll still be working on things to be improved. Thanks for reading.
This was a really nice read. Cyclo how far have you come now? Sorry if i missed another thread that you have made recently about your progress.
